Meeting info: Open meetings are generally every second Sunday in the months February through August, including sales in April and September.  The October meeting is a members only meeting.  All meetings begin at 1pm and usually end around 3pm.

JULY 13, 2014

Open meeting

  • Presentation: Growing Plumerias from Seed
    Tex Norwood is a partner at the esteemed Florida Colors Nursery, which turns out thousands of seedlings a year. Their seedlings develop from pollination mainly for rootstock. Tex will also discuss the process of selecting seedlings to be kept until they bloom (usually 2-3 years) and the selection and use of seedlings in grafting.
